LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Scuba: all the cool kids are doing it.
Ashley Scott, lately of "S.W.A.T." fame, will don a skimpy suit along with
hot young stars Jessica Alba and Paul Walker for "Into the Blue" for MGM.
The underwater action-adventure centers on scuba-diving best friends who
discover the sunken wreckage of a plane that contains illegal cargo. Soon,
the friends find themselves involved with a dangerous drug lord, according
to The Hollywood Reporter.
John Stockwell, who also helmed another aquatic film, "Blue Crush," will
direct.
"Blue," which will begin shooting in mid-January, reunites Scott with Alba,
who co-starred in James Cameron's "Dark Angel" series.
Scott next stars opposite Estella Warren ("Planet of the Apes") in
"Trespassing," which is scheduled to open this month.
