But the problem with that view lies in
whether you believe the baby is alive or not. Studies have shown brain
patterns as early as 4 weeks and a heartbeat much earlier. So if the baby
is alive, then performing an abortion is the willing taking of a life.
It's not just the woman's body, it is also the life of that child. Greg
over there has, on occasion, been a thorn in my side (an inconvenience if you
will), do I have the right to take his life? If you answer "no", then how
can a woman take the life of her child for the same reasons?

Well
see I only approve of it in certain cases and definatly not past the first
trimester. Funny thing is I was telling my grandmother about this yesterday. I
never really knew what her views were on this and she knocked my socks off with
her answer. She's more liberal than I am in her opinions on this. She agrees
with the not past first trimester but asked who she was to determine what
someone else did with their body and then did go onto say if they want to burn
in hell for the rest of their lives for what they've done, then that's their
choice. They can choose what to do with their bodies whether it be right or
wrong and pay for it in the hereafter.
Depends on your state, in some
states they do not have to be
done by a certaun week in your pregancy. In some yes, but in others...
Arkansas among them unless something has recently changed, their legal all the
way up thru the 9th month.
In several states it's legal 5
minutes before birth, 5 minutes later it's murder. If you ask me, it's murder
in both cases....one's just legal while the other isn't.
Amazing......

I
do agree with you on the fact that if you allow it, then those that do use
it as a form of birth control will keep on using it as that, but at the same
time isnt it better to have them do it that way in a medical office, than
trying to do it when its illegal and possibly killing both the child and
themselves? There are some cases that it can be warranted. I know myself
would not want to carry a child conceived out of rape or incest as many
others wouldnt want to either. But at the same time, my parents asked me
when they found out I was pregnant if I wanted to have an abortion and I
refused it no matter what. Unfortunatly in today's society though, I really
dont see abortion laws changing to make them illegal again, so just work to
make it a little more difficult to obtain one. They have to be done by a
certain week in the pregnancy, in the case of teenagers, parents must always
consent to it also and disallow them in women that have had so many.

As I told Lowell,
just checking. This is one subject I usually dont give my opinion on b/c
in most cases most people dont understand it, but I feel I must explain.
I dont consider myself pro abortion. I dont believe in goofing up and
going out and having an abortion just b/c you dont want to be pregnant.
But at the same time, I dont feel its right for certain women to feel
like murderers b/c they were raped and wound up pregnant and dont want
to carry the baby of a rapist. So I guess in that way, I am pro choice.
It's not something I myself would want to do, but who am I to tell
someone else what they can or cant do with their own body. But I do
strongly oppose abortion as a means of birth control as I have known
some girls to do. But not e'one that is pro choice totally condones
abortion, so it seems kinda bad to say all pro choice people are pro
abortion.
i understand your position and i respect
it
my belief though is if a person is pro choice then even though
that person is only for certain situations they are still for something
which gives that choice to people who are going to use it for birth
control. and no matter what reason its for its still considered abortion
in any situation so it would still be pro abortion
unless its a
life or death situation where both will die but theres a chance to save
the mother abortion is still considered murder of an unborn
child
