Jeb Bush Angry at Dem War Critics
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Thursday that attempts by Democrats
to impugn his brother's motives for leading America into war in Iraq make him
angry.
Asked about Sen. Ted Kennedy's recent complaint that the Iraq war was a
"fraud" perpetrated by the White House, Gov. Bush told national radio host Sean
Hannity, "It angers me and it's very frustrating to see."
"But I also know that what goes around comes around," Bush warned.
The Florida Republican predicted that some of the harsher comments by
Democratic presidential candidates would come back to haunt them - perhaps in
GOP campaign commercials.
"Once the Democrats nominate somebody, all of these outrageous things that
they're saying will be played back. They're not going to look as good when it's
one candidate against the incumbent."
Gov. Bush said that he believes the Iraq war "will be viewed very positively
a year from now because of the great heroic effort of our military."
