I did it to my parents, I got punished for it, but it still got done. I let my kids raise their voice in certain circumstances, but they dont do it too often thankfully. Usually when it is needed......( I do tend to be unfair about things at times)

I don't know about teenagers in other houses, but if I had ever raised my voice to my mother there would have been a price to pay.  In this house, that would just about guarantee a spanking immediately no questions asked.
