We've had folks join, then send
e-mails complaining when they got mail.....wondering WHY they were getting it.
Then there were those, who signed up, yet couldn't figure out how to unsub.

We also had this problem on
my Bush4K group. people actually sign up for the group and then send messages
to the group complaining that they are getting too much mail.
We have also had peeps ask
for everyone to stop posting non-Bush re-election emails. Everything that is
posted there relates to the President, so it really cracks my ass when they
start nit picking what constitutes *relevant* Bush info.

Depending on the purpose of the group, I can understand
limiting certain
types of replies. I *NEVER* see the value in
putting a limit on number of
emails. It has never made sense to me
for people to sign up for an email
list and then complain when they get
email.
I grumble when I don't have several hundred a day in here
alone. And I'm
far from on the computer all the time. We are
out of the house quite a bit.
It's all a matter of managing your
email. Using filters effectively and
learning how to read fast.
