The media is trying to say the defense is fighting this battle in
the press, and that their actions in the case were geared toward the press not
the judge.
Let me offer this for consideration...
Who wanted this preliminary hearing closed to all press and sealed
as private? The Defense
Who insisted it be open to the public? The
prosecution
When the information turned against them the prosecution
immediately insisted it become closed...anyone with a brain can see why the
defense would oppose it now.
If
the judge would have done as the defense asked in the first place and made the
hearing closed none of this information would be out now.
So
really, whose fault is it this info is in the public? The judge and the
prosecution.
