Born Rich
(10 pm/ET, HBO)

Heir Force

"The very rich," observed F. Scott Fitzgerald, "are different from you and me."

"Yes," Ernest Hemingway replied. "They have more money."

If his documentary Born Rich is any indication, Jamie Johnson, would undoubtedly side with Fitzgerald. At 21, the filmmaker, an heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune, inherited "more money than most people could earn or spend in a lifetime." This largesse got him thinking about why, in his social set, it was "crass" and "not polite to talk about [money]." What else could he do but round up 10 of his blueblood-brothers and sisters to talk about just that — money? More specifically, "the voodoo of inherited money."

Among the haves and the have-mores are the golden children of the houses Trump, Vanderbilt, Newhouse (the publishing giants), Bloomberg (mayor of New York) and Hartford (A&P supermarket chain)....
