It's not exactly Disney World, but
despite the dangers some people are spending their vacations in Iraq. They run
the risk of getting shot, bombed or kidnapped but there are more mundane
dangers -- such as bad roads or poorly maintained hotels -- where exposed live
wiring is common, reports the Web site the Scotsman.com. One group of Japanese
students that recently stayed at the Andalous Palace in Baghdad wandered the
streets of Baghdad unescorted and heavily loaded with expensive cameras. "We
were worried about them," Omar Ali, one of the hotel's staff, tells the
Scotsman.com. "But nothing happened."
