A New Jersey town across the Hudson River from New York City that lost 36 residents in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center is getting flyers claiming to be from Osama bin Laden. The flier urges residents of Middletown, N.J., to not participate in the Nov. 4 elections, the New York Post reports. The fliers say democracy is "a meaningless, insignificant process in which you have probably already decided not to participate" and "Help Osama bin Laden, don't vote." "If there is postage on the envelope, the flyer is being sent legally," the Postal Inspection Service tells the Post. "It may even be a freedom of speech issue."
