PICTURESQUE B'DAY FOR THE FIRST LADY
November 5, 2003 -- CRAWFORD,
Texas - President Bush gave the First Lady a painting by a New York artist
for her 57th birthday yesterday.
She also received a well-wishing call from Bush's parents, former
President Bush and wife Barbara, White House spokesman Scott McClellan
said.
The painting the president bought was by a friend, John Clem Clarke.
Today the first couple mark their 26th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Bush is keeping busy today, with a youth-creativity awards
ceremony and a private coffee with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
