Santa Arrested For Selling Marijuana
A New York businessman who headed the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered as Santa Claus in Long Island malls allegedly also sold marijuana. Fifty-seven-year old Lester Huffer, who lives in the tony neighborhood of Locust Valley on Long Island, was charged with criminal sale of marijuana, the New York Post reports. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison. According to police, he offered his product in a variety of grades and prices -- low-grade marijuana from Mexico cost little, but the high-grade hydroponically grown marijuana cost up to $3,500 a pound, the Post says.
