When I
was using calling cards, I'd buy them from Wal-Mart and I'd usually buy the one
hour one for $5. The only time I had any hidden fees was when I used a pay phone
to call and then they told you on the back of the card if it was used at a pay
phone then you would lose 4 minutes along with any additional minutes you used.
But most of the time, I was using them from home. Hubby still uses them to call
me when he's on the road traveling. That's the only problem with Verizon right
now is I can't get a calling card through them that gets charged to my bill.
24/7 here, the price above the
basic bill itself is cheaper than two one hour calling cards in most places.
:P
The one's where you actually *get*
a hour that is, not the one's that say two to three hours and you wind up
getting 30-40 minutes because of all the hidden fees they charge per call.
