My paternal grandmother had breast cancer and they removed at least one,
maybe both breasts. Later it was determined that it had metastasized into
bone marrow cancer. Prior to her the longest lived patient was 6 years, and
the average was 2-3 years. She survived with it for nearly 20 years. She
was written up in some medical journal about having survived longer than
anyone, and providing hope for others with the cancer. She fought hard to
the very end. Even after saying she'd take no more treatments, when a new
one was recommended she would try it just in case.

So, hang in their Lowell, don't let this thing get the best of you. I know
it is hard to keep hanging in there, and it gets depressing. Don't let it.
Rest on your faith, and know that no matter what you will be all right. We
are praying for you brother.

Lowell,

What kind of cancer does Geraldine Farraro have???? I think it is bone
cancer..and there was an article that I believe she said she was taking that
medicine that was given to mothers back in the 60s that caused them not to
miscarry but turned out to do birth defects in later generations..I
think...this sounds familiar...anyways...can you do some research on her and
find out what kind of cancer she has...cause I think I read after a year or
so of treatments she went into remission. Just a thought....

You know our prayers stay with you Lowell...and we know that if anyone can
beat this....you can.

Big Hugs,
