Hmm, while I definitely like Natalie, I don't know how she will fit the Lois
Lane look.

Subject: [Sndbox] Natalie Portman May Play Lois Lane

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Natalie Portman is the reported frontrunner to
play Superman's girlfriend, Lois Lane, in the upcoming flick.

The "Star Wars" star has been named as studio Warner Brothers' first choice
to play the feisty journalist, according to industry reports.

The project, however, is already rife with problems. Richard Donner has
replaced director McG ("Charlie's Angels") and production has reportedly
been pushed back to 2006.

Additionally, actors Jude Law and Josh Hartnett have both turned down the
chance to portray the kryptonite-fearing man in tights. And Nicolas Cage,
who was once attached to the project, has left the building. Now, Brendan
Fraser is the latest star to be linked to the role.

Portman will be seen in "Cold Mountain" which opens Christmas day.
