The explicit missives were seized by cops during the raid on Jackson's Neverland Ranch, and will be vital to the case against the bizarro pop star, according to The Daily Telegraph of London.
"The boy told investigators about letters and poems and their precise location inside Michael's home," a source close to the probe told the paper.
"These letters were among the evidence seized, along with videotapes. They are very explicit and intimate and show a degree of familiarity. Basically, they appear to be love letters from Michael to the boy."
The source said the DA "is convinced these letters will be crucial to the case against Jackson."
The embattled singer's spokesman, Stuart Backerman, and the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department both declined to comment when asked about the letters.
Meanwhile, sources close to Jackson's defense team yesterday said they have taped and written statements from the boy and his mother saying that the singer never acted inappropriately toward the youngster.

The source said Jackson's high-profile lawyer, Mark Geragos, got the statements late February - revealing that he was secretly working for the pop superstar long before the child-molesting investigation became public.
"Mark has all of these tapes," the source told The Post. "This could turn out to be one of the major scams," he said, referring to the accusations.
Geragos refused to comment on the tapes.
Jackson remained out of sight for a third straight day yesterday, holed up in an undisclosed location in Nevada while he finishes shooting a music video.
But Dean Delorean of CMX Productions, the Vegas studio where the video is being shot, said the self-proclaimed King of Pop isn't singing the blues over the scandalous charges.
"It's business as always," Delorean said. "These allegations have had no effect on Michael."
Jackson, 45, has been charged with committing "lewd or lascivious" acts with a child under 14. If found guilty, he could face more than 10 years in jail.
The Telegraph also reported that Jackson's accuser - who is believed to be battling cancer - told cops that the star's pet name for him was "Rubba."
"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba," the newspaper's source said.
"The boy said, 'Michael told me he was my rubba rubba friend.' The boy first told this to his therapist, then repeated it to police."
In another development, the singer's ex-security chief claimed that as many as 300 children - mainly boys 8 to 12 - had taken part in Neverland sleepovers.
Ex-employee Robert Wegner told The Sun of London that the pop star would take three boys at a time into his bedroom, and on other occasions, threw parties for dozens of kids in a movie theater filled with beds and cushions.
The employee said on those occasions, Jacko banned his staff from entering the theater.
Wegner, who worked for three years at the wacky ranch beginning in 1990, said he personally saw at least 100 children pass through Jacko's bedroom - and estimated as many as 200 more had been invited into the singer's inner sanctum over the years.
"I do not know what went on behind those closed doors. But it raised a lot of questions which still trouble me," Wegner said.
Jackson flew into California from Las Vegas to turn himself into Santa Barbara authorities Thursday. He was later sprung after posting $3 million bail, and flew back to Nevada.
During the media frenzy that followed the booking, a local TV cameraman collapsed while running down the steps of the jail and later died. Bill Skiba, 43, who worked for KEYT, suffered apparent heart failure.
The salacious scandal hasn't hurt Jacko's popularity in Britain. His new disc, "Number Ones," topped the British album charts last night.
