Yes, it is selfish.  I don't think anyone disagreed with that.  But I still
say it's sad as well.  That's what some were saying, is that his death
wasn't sad because it was selfish.  From my point of view if someone reaches
that point where they think they have no hope, that is a sad thing.  It
doesn't negate the selfishness of the act.

Jen I would have to agree with you on that, it is very selfish.  But it is a
hard angle for some of those people to see unless they have close friends or
family who have committed suicide and then had to live with the loss of 
that loved one.   Depression so deep to the point of wanting to commit 
suicide can be very blinding.  It is a sad situation all 
around!   Especially now during a time when suicide is at a high rate!
