cultivating carefree curls. "It's a sexy look that has a youthful,
rebellious edge to it," says N.Y.C. hairstylist Kattia Solano. And with
the right layers, it looks great with any face shape. The best news? The
less you work on the style, the better. "If you try too hard, you take
away the sexiness," Solano explains. Instead, wet hair and comb through a
moisturizing mousse, such as KÃrastase Nutritive Elasto-Curl ($37;
planetbeauty.com). Then coil random sections of hair around the face and
pin them up. Let locks dry, remove pins and shake out. "Just remember that
