My finance professor was getting a HumVee this summer
and since he has another job doing consulting and
such..he was planning on depreciating the whole thing
over 5 years and writing off the first 25,000 this
year...it was meant for farm equipment but since these
vehicles weigh so much, they qualify as long as they
are used in a second job.
