'Chasing Amy' Star Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI
Golden Globe Nominee Released On Own Recognizance

Actress Joey Lauren Adams is in trouble with the law.
Adams, who played the title character opposite Ben Affleck in Kevin
Smith's 1997 hit comedy "Chasing Amy," has been arrested on suspicion of drunken
driving.
According to the San Diego Union Tribune, the actress was arrested
Friday after an officer saw her pull into a gas station and stop after hitting
the curb a few times. She was released without bond.
In addition to "Chasing Amy," the 32-year-old Adams also had roles in
Smith's "Mallrats" and "Jay and Silent Strike Back."
Adams also starred opposite Adam Sandler in the hit comedy "Big Daddy."
