Fox has released details of its 2004 slate of films, including I, Robot, Alien vs. Predator and the supernatural-tinged thriller film Stay. I, Robot, based on the Isaac Asimov collection of stories, is slated for a July 16 release; Alien vs. Predator, based on the two SF film franchises, is eyeing an Aug. 6 date; and Stay has no release date yet.
I, Robot, directed by Alex Proyas (Dark City), stars Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Bruce Greenwood, James Cromwell, Chi McBride and Alan Tudyk. In the year 2035, robots are an everyday household item, and everyone trusts them, except one, slightly paranoid detective (Smith), who investigates what he alone believes is a crime perpetrated by a robot. The case leads him to discover a far more frightening threat to the human race, the studio said. Alien vs. Predator is directed by Paul Anderson and stars Sanaa Lathan, Raoul Bova, Lance Henriksen and Ewen Bremner. The iconic monsters from the two film franchises battle each other on Earth for the first time on film. The discovery of an ancient pyramid buried in Antarctica sends a team of scientists and adventurers to the frozen continent, where they make an even more terrifying discovery: two alien races engaged in the ultimate battle. Star is directed by Marc Forster (Monster's Ball) and stars Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling, Bob Hoskins and Janeane Garofalo. It is a reality-bending thriller about a psychologist whose suicidal client makes bizarre predictions that, to the psychologist's mounting terror, begin to come true. The shrink must race against time to save everything he loves before it disappears. _______________________________________________ Sndbox mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://a8.mewebdns-a8.com/mailman/listinfo/sndbox_sandboxmail.net
