OMG! The worst gum/tooth ache my
hubby ever had was due to popcorn. he got a piece of the kernal/skin down
inside his gumline and couldn't get it out. His gum swelled up and got all
red. So he went to the dentist and the dentist popped it out. Hubby said he
could feel the relief as soon as the kernal skin came out. But the dumbass
dentist swore that it wasn't that causing him all the pain.

My mom gets popcorn induced gum infections all the time if she tries to
eat it, so it's just possible popcorn is evil. Speaking of evil food,
the other day at our New Year's Day dinner, I had a piece of bruschetta, and
the bread ACTUALLY sliced the inside of my mouth under my teeth. It
frickin HURT.
