New York City's nightclubs are known for being on the cutting edge of new trends, and the latest is board games. Old-fashioned board games such as Monopoly or backgammon, as well as modern video games are a hot item in some of the city's trendiest hotspots, the New York Post reports. The Social Club of Manhattan offers Connect Four and Chutes and Ladders and a pair of PlayStations running through 50-inch plasma-screen TVs with vintage arcade games like Frogger, Donkey Kong and Galaga. The Social Club's VIP rooms offer a king-size bed on which partiers can play chess with sets custom-designed by award-winning artist Karim Rashid.
