On Larry King about a week ago, they had a bunch of people on talking about Steve Allen. They said he was very shy and would stand at the bookcase at parties, either reading or waiting for similar types to come up to him. I had to go to a writer's function that I didn't feel like going to, and I stood by the bookshelf. It worked because no one came up to me that was boring, LOL!
