A private dinner between retired general Wesley Clark and Madonna has blossomed into the diva's endorsement of the Democrat presidential hopeful.
A closer look at some of Clark's recent speeches reveals that the Madonna pandering includes a listing of the material girl's favorite religious organization as one of the world's great faiths.
In a speech to Florida Democrats, Clark said, "There's one common principle to every faith that I've ever studied, whether it's Catholicism, Protestantism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Kabbalism or every other, and it's this: that those who are the most fortunate help those who are less fortunate."
Barbra Streisand, Roseanne Barr, Sandra Bernhard, Elizabeth Taylor, Laura Dern and other Hollywood celebs have been known to frequent the L.A. Kabbalah Center. Followers of the center wear "Kabbalah strings" and drink "Kabbalah water" as a part of their New Age mystical journey.
The Left Coast Report sees Clark's background grow more interesting by the hour as he reveals to select constituents that he was raised Jewish, converted to Catholicism, attends a Presbyterian church and might even be willing to shave his head for the Buddhist vote.
