The U.S. was put on a terrorism "Orange Alert" over the
holidays, with special attention to be paid to New Year's eve. The
nation's airports were on "extraordinary" alert. At Dulles
International Airport outside Washington, D.C., Transportation Security
Administration security chief Charles Brady, 49, was supposed to be on
duty until 2:00 a.m. January 1st to oversee security. But around 1:00
a.m. Brady was pulled over by police, off airport grounds, and charged
with drunk driving. So who was at the airport overseeing security? "I
couldn't tell you," said a TSA spokeswoman. (Washington Post)
