LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Previously announced appearances by Danny DeVito on "Friends" and Michael J. Fox on "Scrubs" (both on Thursday, Feb. 5), NBC has lined up an impressive number of new and returning guest stars for the February sweeps periods. It's a diverse slate that includes musicians, Oscar nominated actors and people famous for no particular reason.
Among the familiar faces in familiar places as John Cleese and Minnie Driver, who continue their runs on "Will & Grace." Suzanne Pleshette will also be back on the series. Thandie Newton's "ER" run is set to continue, while Jamie Pressly joins the cast of the network's "Happy Family" as Alex, the sassy dental assistant who first appeared back in January. "Scrubs" will welcome back two actors, Tara Reid and Brandan Fraser. Snoop Dogg and Biz Markie will drop by "The Tracy Morgan Show" and "American Dreams" has a legion of guests lined up. Nick Lachey will play Tom Jones on Feb. 15 and other sweeps episodes will see Chris Isaak as Roy Orbison and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Nancy Sinatra. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, "Whoopi" will offer a "Ghost" reunion when Patrick Swayze appears as a choreographer who worked with Goldberg's character back when she was a one-hit wonder. "Will & Grace" will greet Dave Foley and Jay Mohr will appear for three episodes on "The West Wing" as a conservative talk show host. "You Can Count on Me" star Laura Linney is also set to appear on three episodes of "Frasier" as a matchmaker who tries to help Frasier find love. And then there's Paris Hilton. The reality star and oft-downloaded heiress will play something besides herself when she visits "Las Vegas" on Monday, Feb. 2.
