LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The makers of "Chicken Run" will travel to the desert to find a boy from outer space.
Pathe is set to adapt Antoine de Saint-Exupery's classic story "The Little Prince" into an animated film, according to the BBC. "Prince" centers on a pilot who crash-lands in the desert only to find a unique boy who claims to be a prince from another planet. The prince recounts fantastical tales about his travels and who he meets. "'The Little Prince's' magical words and images are deeply rooted in the imagination of generations of children around the world," says Francois Ivernel, managing director of Pathe. "We intend to make a feature film that uses the very best animation techniques and talents." A 1974 live action version of the story starred Gene Wilder and Bob Fosse. "Prince" was first published in 1943 and has sold 25 million copies worldwide, in over 150 different languages. _______________________________________________ Sndbox mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://a8.mewebdns-a8.com/mailman/listinfo/sndbox_sandboxmail.net
