Yes, I agree. I occasionally advise customers to send .exe and other files as a .zip. Blanket rejection of .zip attachments is a bad thing.
Blanket rejection of .zip attachments is only our current policy for our email customers. It is not implemented in sniffer. It is definitely not a good policy for most system, and in fact on our systems it is only a stop-gap measure until other facilities become available.
Message Sniffer does not block .zip files.
MicroNeil's mail servers do - for the time being.
