Auth errors most likely indicate a bad download. Be sure to always check downloads with snf2check before placing them in service. Traffic on the web server was very, very high during the period of transition since all downloads began to take 2-3 times as long, and so the queue built up badly -- this would increase the chance of a failed or corrupted download.
