I just thought I'd revive this thread and say that on a tiny organization for whom I also administer the mail, this was welcome news.
They have ORF plus Exchange 2000. I added the free eval version of sniffer to their mix with the new ORF External Agent feature. Despite the delay in patterns, it is picking up some of the small amount of spam that leaks in despite the RBL based tests. I also used the "standard" download scripts wrangled by Bill Landry instead of my own, and found this pretty easy to set up.
