Hi everyone. Background. Running IMail 8.15HF2, Declude 1.82 and sniffer.
Using P4, 512MB RAM with about 400 thousand messages a day. The employee who
used to manage this has left the company and I am now the owner and have not
dealt much with Sniffer.
My declude config shows this line:
#Sniffer
SNIFFER external nonzero "c:\sniffer\h6bcwnii.exe SN#" 25 0
When that is not commented like that, the email processing is deadly slow. If
I comment the line out:
#Sniffer
#SNIFFER external nonzero "c:\sniffer\h6bcwnii.exe SN#" 25 0
everything speeds up. EG. I tested something simple like opening task manager
and with sniffer running it tasks almost 5 minutes to com up. No sniffer, it's
like 5 seconds. How do I optimize sniffer?
