This is the first problem I've heard that's not related to the recently resolved FTP issue. Can you be more specific about the conditions? Have you tried downloading the file manually with your web browser to see if you get the same results? (that might tell you something). Did you make any changes at all to your scripts -- none should be necessary. All of the installations I am aware of using wget & gzip have worked without a problem during the transition - in fact our Imail/Declude test bed uses this mechanism and was part of my initial testing before deploying the new server. Please be specific about your installation and any errors you are getting I'll see if I can find a reason for the failure.
