Hi, You can use the standard SNMP SET operation to remotely change the communities with an authorized community or user. Please read the SNMP-COMMUNITY-MIB specification and the VACM RFCs.
BTW, Why are you quoting a link farm page for a SNMP4J source??? Please do not do that (i.e., do not support their non-sense business model)! Best regards, Frank Am 10.09.2013 18:50, schrieb Rajasekhar Gogula:
Hi, I am using snmp4j-agent version 1.4.2. I am using SampleAgent ( http://massapi.com/source/snmp4j-agent-1.4.3/src/org/snmp4j/agent/example/SampleAgent.java.html). I am trying to change the community string for my agent but I failed to do so. Can some one help me with a sample program to change the community string?
