Hi I-Wen,
There are no "settings" that would help here. The trap sender is the
authoritative engine - not the receiver.
This switches with INFORM requests, though.
Consequently, traps and notifications with noAuthnoPriv will always be
accepted by the SNMP4J API.
Your application code has then to decide, if the trap/notification is
worth to be processed or not.
Best regards,
Frank

Hi,
I'm working on a simple trap receiver program using SNMP 4j. With the setup of
Auth Protocol/Key and Priv Protocol/Key, I'm able to receive the v3 trap
successfully. Besides that, I found out the program also receive the v3 trap
with security level noAuthnoPriv. I'm wondering if I miss some settings on my
code. Would you please kindly advise?
Thanks,
I-Wen
