H Frank,

I am using snmp4j-2.3.0 version at Trap receiver (SNMP Manager) end. 
And the trap sender is net-snmp agent.

Sorry, you are right. Then you are not using SNMP4J version 2.2.2 or 
never, right?
Please update to fix the problem.
