Attachments: Datahandler vs addBodyPart

The MimeTestClient shows two ways to send attachments for RPC. One shows
adding the DataHandler objects as a parameter directly to the parameter
Vector (or in an array, or other Vector).  The other adds attachments  to
the Call object directly by the "addBodyPart" method.  Can some explain the
differences?  Advantages?  Does the latter just allow more control?
