I did succesufully use .Net Beta 2 with SOAP2.2 on  an OS/390 V2.10. You must be very careful with the WSDL you use. If it is not corrrect, the "Add Web Reference..." option of VStudio may not function properly. I've used IBM's WSTK2.4 and GLUE, and both run ok.

  I did succesfully connect between a .Net client and a webservice deployed in Tomcat built using Apache SOAP2.2.If i know what exactly were the problems you are having maybe i can help you.
