I believe there is also another alternative that can be used as a small
browser-based client: 'SoapRMI'.
It is only 183KB (including an XML parser) and is available here:
http://www.extreme.indiana.edu/soap/rmi/download/.
And don't blame me if it all goes pear-shaped - I've never used it!
