What I have done is added the flwg lines at the end: i.e. after the
startServer:
:startServer
set CLASSPATH=c:\xerces\xerces.jar;%CP%;c:\soap\samples;
echo Using CLASSPATH: %CLASSPATH%
pause
This works fine. You do not have to delete jaxp etc.

another trick is to name xerces.jar a-xerces.jar
(like AAA Auto Towing Service!)
