The problem with RedHat 7.0 was in fact with Sun JDK 1.2.2, but was
fixed with an upgrade of glibc on those systems. Here is the

You might consider using IBM's or Blackdown's JDK if you continue to
have problems. I've used both with no problems on RH7.
