Good Question!
First the definition of WSML:
A WSML file provides information that maps the operations of a service (as described in the WSDL file) to specific methods in the COM object
therefore: You must have a COM Object available
Without a COM Object (and it's methods) one would have no need for WSML...
Conclusion:
Microsoft .NET Soap requests are crippled in that they can only call Microsoft .NET Soap Servers.
Anyone else..??
