Did you add this method after you first deployed the class? After adding, did you
stop the servlet container (e.g. Tomcat), copy the .class file, then restart the
container?

I have a method in my service with the signature

I built a test client to call it, and I get this error:

have I missed something, perhaps in the deployment descriptor?
