It really depends on how familiar you are with the concepts. It won't take very long to install and configure these servers IF you have clear clues in mind. If you are a total newbie, you need to spend some time reading the README files, knowing the concepts and procedures.

I recommend you to install in the order of (1) Tomcat (2) Apache-SOAP (3) SSL. The first two steps are similar, download zip or tar.gz files from apache.org website, uncompress, read README files(or installation note), and install it step by step. The SSL involved third party CAs(VeriSign or Thawte whatever) "certificate" if you are not satisfied with "self-signed" certificate. You can go to their website to buy one for your website by following the detail instructions. It may take several days for them to issue you the certificate. Sometimes you need to fax your company's credentials to them.

Hope you have an idea for these issues.

All,
I am trying to get an idea of how long would it takes to install and configures Apache SOAP + Tomcat + SSL connection. I have some XP with Apache and Tomcat, but a total newbie with SOAP. If some had done this before, I would like to know what is involved and how long does it take to install it and configure it. Thanks.
