okay, nothing to report here if everything works now as you expect :)
just do look at the source code of the Mandatory class I sent you
earlier to see how it's supposed to work. xml schema is a powerful (thus
complicated) standard, not really designed with a dynamic language in
mind, so its behaviour is not always intuitive to the pythonic mindset.
