Yes, there is a Soap client in Spyne, but it's only easy to get it
working with Spyne servers, because it doesn't parse wsdl documents and
needs the server code.
If suds isn't working for you, perhaps http://pyxb.sourceforge.net/
could do the job for you. I did not try it but it looks promising.
