I posted this message at the beginning of the week when I finally was able
to get back on the list, but I never saw the message on RCSE.
Did it make it the first time?
WOW, I was trying to subscribe for over a week and here is what I
discovered:
1 The server doesn't like MIME at all ! (I dont like mimes either)
2 You cant use the addresses in the list response because they have a semi
colon or
quotation marks attached.
3 For some unknown reason, one of my filters was keeping the
verification request from getting through. I finally subscribed from my
new laptop
which I havent set up filters on yet.
4 Outlook express comes with html and mime enabled and this really screws
up your
subscription request.
5 The command must be on the first line of the page.
It's good to be back.
