With all this mailing list failures it seems to me we
should use a backup list at Onelist.com

The good guys at Airage.com are not in the business of
maintaining a list server so we can't complain about a
service that's free.

What we can do is subscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
set e-mail settings as to not send e-mail. We can turn
it on when we see there is a problem with the list as
in now.

Every subscriber can select Normal e-mail, Digested
e-mail or No mail without unsubscribing such as when
we go on vacation. The nice thing is that even
without getting mail we can always go to the archives
and download the digested version.

What do we get extra beside the mailing list?

1) Message Archives

2) Post Message from e-mail or a web browser
Send a message to the list by regular e-mail or by
using your web browser such as when you're on a trip.

3) Calendar
Post and review scheduled events for the list such as
competition days or deadlines.

4) Automatic reminders.
We can set the calendar to send a reminder a few days
before certain scheduled events.

5) Automatic Survey
View previous survey results and do Surveys like the
Top Ten or what's the better glider.

6) Bookmarks
View links submitted by other group members or add
your own links such as your personal glider web page
address.

7) Shared Files
Shared Files directory where we can upload pictures of
the events as well as other files such as programs or
excel worksheets as the one used for F3F score
keeping.

I think those are additional features we can take
advantage from.

I already registered the list but I would like to turn
over the management of the list to the three or four
people that are more involved in this list.

I think it's not a bad idea to have a backup list and
specially if it has a more up to date list of
features.

So if you want to try it you can subscribe by sending
an empty e-mail to:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

or go to:

http://www.onelist.com/addsub.cgi?listname=RCSE

Let me know who are the guys who want to manage the
list. Maybe whoever is managing the list right now
might want to take over.
