I get more than I need from mine. I walked into a refrig repair shop and
paid $10 US for a used 1/8 hp sealed unit. I set up a vacuum switch using
a vacuum advance from a renault 10 and a micro-switch. Set it to turn off
at 16 and back on at 13". Used an old auto vacuum guage to monitor it. Works
great with blue foam. Refrig units have oil in them for lube. It works best
to run a hose from the pressure side up at least 3 feet so the oil doesn't
get lost. It will run back down the tube to the unit each time it switches
off.
