I want to see where Gordy placed and what he was flying. 8-) Jim Okay Jim, Eat your heart out! :-) I did pretty well in fact. First day I only flew unlimited and flew a Citation manufactured by Warren Bolander in Lexington Ky (606-223-8014) This is a cross between a Super V, Magic and Pelican of sorts. All glass ship with three piece wing, V tail, slip on nose, 120" span. 7080 root, 7084 tip. This is a plane I have been flying for about two years, as a development project for Warren. It is a very nice design easily up to the tasks we fly. It comes as an ARF and is only $380. On Saturday I placed 6th out of a tough group of competition guys. On Sunday I flew the same plane in Unlimited and placed 19th, the result of a killer pass of sink that left me out of the landing zone. Too tough a field to hope for more with a sour round. Standard class I placed 5th, mostly due to spin landings (no nose skeg :-( I flew Mark Kummerow's Searcher. Great 2M, also a V tail ARF. It comes ready for servos and horns. It has live hinges too.
