I just got the bug to get back into RC soaring...

It's been about 12+ years since I flew RC but at that time I was flying
various hot slopers and a Carrera Draco - 11', so I think my fingers are
probably still in the intermediate+ level of coordination ;)

I fly full size gliders (ASW-20B - see http://www.serkowski.com) and I
just can't get to the airport as often as I'd like, so I want something
to carry around with me to toss at lunch (ragged ridge behind the
office), before and after flying the 'real thing', etc.

When I lived in southern California, seems that I couldn't help but run
into folks flying gliders, but so far haven't seen much here in CO - but
I haven't looked hard.

I have nothing right now, so will need to start from scratch. So here's
your chance: if you had $400 or so, what radio/glider would you buy?

Not much time for building so I prefer ARF. Most fields here have rough
vegetation, so I'd rather not have a clear film covering. Is it asking
too much for a glider that can work light thermals AND still handle
10-15 mph on a small ridge? A 2 piece wing would be nice so I don't
trash it in the car.

Anyone in the Colorado Springs/Canyon City/Denver area fly these and
willing to help me?

Thanks
